Beth Burns was honored for 30 years of service to Richland County Children Services.
Intake 3 Team caseworker Beth Burns was honored for 30 years of service to Richland County Children Services.
For her dedicated work, RCCS recognized Beth at the March staff meeting. Intake 3 Team Supervisor, Miranda Walker, presented her with an award and certificate.
“Beth is very passionate about her job and is a great worker,” Walker said.
Beth began her career in child welfare on March 2, 1989 at Downs Residential Hall as a child case worker.
On Oct. 1, 1999, she was hired as a caseworker for Richland County Children Services. Throughout her career Beth has worked with the intake, ongoing and placement teams.
“I wanted to work for RCCS to help make a difference in the lives of children and families,” Burns said.
“I believe in miracles and that people can change. Those beliefs have kept me going for 30 years at RCCS,” Burns said.
