Wear Blue Day set for April 11

Richland County Children Services will participate in the annual statewide "Wear Blue Day" on Wednesday, April 11.

The event is staged in April during National Child Abuse Prevention Month to create community awareness of the important issues of child abuse and neglect.

Richland County Children Services is asking local businesses, offices, schools, agencies, factories, retail outlets, media outlets and other organizations to WEAR BLUE on April 11.

The agency will accept emailed photos from participants to post on the RCCS website and Facebook pages.

A community Wear Blue Day rally is planned that day at 10 a.m. at Graham Auto Mall, 1515 West Fourth St., in  Mansfield.
