Richland County Children Services seeks 30-hour-per-week child abuse investigator

Richland County Children Services is accepting applications for a 30-hour-per week child abuse investigator.
This employee will conduct investigations in response to sexual abuse allegations or reasonable suspicion thereof; initiate criminal charges and prepare cases as necessary.
Candidates should have an undergraduate degree in social sciences, such as social work, criminal justice, education and sociology. They should have previous experience in Child/Juvenile-related cases; minimum of two years experience as a law enforcement officer; and current certification as State of Ohio Peace Officer.
Candidates should also have a valid Ohio driver's license and be insurable under the county/agency driving policy. The pay range for the position is $20.68 to $27.97 per hour, based on education and experience.
