Child Abuse Prevention street banners now up in Lexington, Ontario
April 18, 2012
About three dozen street banners have been placed in the City of Ontario and the Village of Lexington this month in support of National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
(Click here to see a photo gallery from some of the banners in the two Richland County communities.)
The banners were provided to the communities by Richland County Children Services, an agency that has been protecting children and helping local families since 1883.
Each banner says, "Safe children today build strong families tomorrow." Each has the familiar Richland County Children Services logo; the agency's hotline phone number (419-774-4100) that is open to calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week; and the agency's Web site address at www.richlandcountychildrenservices.org.
If your community would like to also place banners in April 2013, please contact Richland County Children Services Communication Supervisor Carl Hunnell at 419-774-4104 or by e-mail at hunnec@odjfs.state.oh.us.
