900,000 child cabinet locks recalled due to lock failure

Dorel Juvenile Group Inc. is voluntarily recalling 900,000 Safety 1st Push N' Snap cabinet locks after scores of small children were able to open them, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Thursday.

Dorel, based in Columbus, Ind., has gotten 200 reports of locks that failed to secure the cabinet, including reports of damaged locks, the commission said on its website.
